為提供學生學習日語機會、體驗日本文化、提昇國際觀與日語學習興趣，本系積極致力於國際交流。與日本志學館大學、純心女子大學、明星大學、清泉女子大學、神田外語大學、OISCA開發教育專門學校、高知女子大學、大阪學院大學等學校建立學術交流協定，每年互派交換學生至該校留學半年或一年。此外，有國立佐賀大學，以及高知女子大學等等至本校進行教育實習與專業領域學習之訪問。從日本來的交換留學生對在本校學習狀況有極高的評價，並與本校學生交流互動良好。本系也積極安排日籍留學生在台灣住宿家庭，透過住宿家庭的安排，增進學生間之交流，並讓學生體會異文化之不同。再者，每年寒暑假舉辦國外日語短期研習課程，所修習之課程返校後可申請抵免學分。

      In order to provide students with overseas opportunities of learning Japanese, experiencing Japanese culture, shoring up their learning interests and widening up their international view, our department devoted itself to international exchange programs. We have signed a number of academic exchange contracts with Japanese universities, such as Shigakukan University, Kagoshima Immaculate Heart University, Meisei University, Seisen University, Kanda University of International Studies, OISCA Technical College, University of Kochi, Osaka Gakuin University, for exchanging students each year. In particular, University Saga and Kochi Women's University will send their students to the Wenzao campus to ineract with their fellow students here on inernship. In our survey, most Japanese students have had high remark for their learning experience at Wenzao and established positive relations with their counterparts. Our department has a home-stay program in place to assist Japanese students in settling in local environment of foreign culture. In addition, sister universities will offer short-term language classes for exchange students over the summer/winter vacations.
